Fresh Start is thrilled to launch an inaugural series focused on equipping women with the practical knowledge they need to start building generational wealth! Generational wealth is essential to break generational cycles of poverty and create a long-lasting legacy of security.
This series focuses on three topics: Life Insurance, Investments, and Home Ownership.

Workshop Description – Bagels, Coffee, & Homeownership
ENGLISH: Fresh Start recognizes homeownership is a critical component of building individual assets and generational wealth. It is with great pride that we announce our first Women’s Homebuyer Advocacy Event. Our partner Alletta Renee Holley (MLO), a Fresh Start Woman, will facilitate a homebuyer education workshop called “Move into your Dreams”.
Our goal is to provide our women with the tools and resources they need to make homeownership a reality, not just a dream. In addition to this very informative workshop, we will have a bank partner volunteer available to provide a credit report to our clients. At the end of the event, the women will have the opportunity to meet with many local organizations that provide Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance. The goal is for the women to leave Empowered and feel they have the tools to make educated decisions throughout their homebuyer journey.
SPANISH: Fresh Start reconoce que ser propietaria de una vivienda es un componente crítico de la construcción de bienes individuales y riqueza generacional. Es con gran orgullo que anunciamos nuestro primer evento de propugnacion de Mujeres Compradoras de Vivienda. Nuestra socia Alletta Renee Holley (MLO), una mujer de Fresh Start, facilitará un taller de educación para compradores de vivienda llamado “Muévete hacia tus sueños”. Nuestro objetivo es proporcionar a nuestras mujeres con las herramientas y los recursos necesarios para hacer lo de propietaria una realidad y no solo un sueño.
Además de este taller muy informativo, tendremos voluntarios disponible para proporcionar un informe de crédito a nuestros clientes. Al final del evento, las mujeres tendrán la oportunidad de reunirse con muchas organizaciones locales que brindan asistencia para el pago inicial y el costo de cierre de un prestamo hipotecario. El objetivo es que las mujeres se sientan empoderadas y sientan que tienen las herramientas para tomar decisiones informadas a lo largo de su viaje como compradoras de vivienda.
