Founded in January 2023, the Client Advisory Council (CAC) serves as a bridge between Fresh Start clients and organizational leadership, ensuring that client voices are meaningfully represented in decisions that impact their growth and success.
At its core, Fresh Start’s CAC is committed to amplifying the voices of women, particularly those who have navigated Fresh Start’s programs. By providing informed, actionable feedback that supports continuous improvement and relevance, members participate in thoughtful dialogue around program efficacy, service design, and client engagement, aiming to enhance the client journey for both current and future participants. Through this work, the CAC fosters a culture of shared leadership and collaborative transformation.
Beyond feedback, the Council also functions as a leadership development platform. Members gain valuable experience serving on a nonprofit council, engage in public speaking and representation, and volunteer in client-facing and fundraising events. Each member serves not just as a contributor, but as a Fresh Start ambassador, committed to expanding the organizations reach and reinforcing its mission in the community.
Ultimately, the CAC envisions a Fresh Start where every woman—regardless of where she is on her journey—feels seen, heard, and empowered. Through structured collaboration, consistent advocacy, and a strong community ethic, the CAC strives to ensure that Fresh Start remains responsive, inclusive, and impactful for all women seeking growth and renewal.
