PHOENIX, AZ (November 24, 2025) – Fresh Start is grateful to announce that the 31st Annual Charity Golf Classic presented by Valley Toyota Dealers raised over $580,000 to help Arizona women and families thrive. On Friday, November 21st at Talking Stick Golf Club, the Fresh Start Men’s Board hosted over 200 golfers to celebrate another momentous year of golf and community impact.
Fresh Start’s longest-running event, the Charity Golf Classic is hosted annually by the Fresh Start Men’s Board to raise funds for the nonprofit’s mission to support women with access and resources on the path to self-sufficiency. Under the leadership of Golf Tournament Chair, Thomas Quinn, and Men’s Board Chair, Kyle Miller, the Fresh Start Men’s Board put on a memorable event for players to have fun while supporting an important cause.
Fresh Start and the Men’s Board extend their sincere gratitude to presenting sponsor Valley Toyota Dealers, who has been a loyal partner to Fresh Start for over a decade. This year, Valley Toyota Dealers generously donated a 2025 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Double Cab as a tournament raffle prize. All funds raised from this raffle and the Charity Golf Classic directly benefit Fresh Start’s services.
Fresh Start empowers women to succeed and drives multigenerational change in families by providing support in five key areas: Family Stability, Health & Well-being, Financial Management, Education & Training, and Careers. Their programs help women sustain positive behavioral change, secure job opportunities to provide for their families, and break generational cycles of poverty. “When a woman is motivated to change her life and empowered with the right resources, her success shapes her family and her community,” says President & CEO Kim McWaters. “The impact from this tournament will continue to be felt for years to come.”
