Fresh Start Women’s Foundation will present its 24th annual Gala on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at The Phoenician. Business leader and philanthropist, Ann Siner, to be recognized at this special event.

PHOENIX, AZ – Fresh Start Women’s Foundation will present its 24th annual Gala on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at The Phoenician. Gala is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser with proceeds directed toward a myriad of programs and services available at the Jewell McFarland Lewis Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center in downtown Phoenix. In 2019, the facility received more than 25,000 visits.
Ann Siner, co-owner of My Sister’s Closet and other consignment stores related to kids, men and furniture, will be presented the Founders’ Award in recognition of her outstanding support of the mission of Fresh Start and generous philanthropic spirit throughout the Valley. Past recipients of the award, members of the Fresh Start Founders’ Circle, include Cindy Watts, Jan Lewis, Jacquie Dorrance and Nancy Hanley. Sisters Pat Petznick and Beverly Stewart founded Fresh Start more than two decades ago.
Lisa Stevens Anderson and Marlene Klotz Collins, long-time members of Fresh Start’s Executive Board, are co-chairs for the event. “The diverse programs and services Fresh Start offers women in all stages of life are exceptional,” Stevens Anderson stated. “Our programs target life skills, career and education, legal assistance, computer training, job training and placement, empowerment and so much more.”
“Gala is a time to celebrate the mission of Fresh Start and achievements of the women we serve,” said Klotz Collins. “The event also gives the community an opportunity to financially support the goodness of our programs and become part of the life-changing successes.”
The evening includes a dramatic model presentation by Nieman Marcus, live entertainment and dancing.
