Fresh Start Women’s Foundation Selected for “Phoenix Stories” Publication by the Phoenix Business Journal

Fresh Start Women’s Foundation is honored to announce their selection and inclusion in the “Phoenix Stories” publication by the Phoenix Business Journal. Released on July 13th, “Phoenix Stories” is a special publication produced by the Phoenix Business Journal each year and includes 15 stories from non-profit organizations from around the valley.

PHOENIX , AZ – Fresh Start Women’s Foundation is honored to announce their selection and inclusion in the “Phoenix Stories” publication by the Phoenix Business Journal. Released on July 13th, “Phoenix Stories” is a special publication produced by the Phoenix Business Journal each year and includes 15 stories from non-profit organizations from around the valley.

“We are so excited to be part of Phoenix Stories,” says President and CEO Susan Berman. “We read Phoenix Stories each year and love the stories that are included. Being part of this is a special way to share our mission and to show how our work affects women in our community.”

 A distinguished panel of judges from the Phoenix Business Journal newsroom and members of the business community have selected 19 finalists from the stories featured in Phoenix Stories. Those 19 stories will be promoted for several weeks on the Phoenix Business Journal website where readers will be able to vote for their favorite success story of 2018. 

This is another opportunity to secure funds for Fresh Start with the first-place story receiving a check for $10,000 and two additional stories receiving honorable mention prizes of $5,000 each. You can read Fresh Start’s story online and vote via the 2018 Phoenix Stories Poll.  Voting ends August 31st.

Fresh Start is asking you to vote for their story about resiliency, persistence and the ability to have women in the technology industry. The published story reflects on the journey of one woman overcoming great personal hardship to find her way forward in a career in the technology industry.
