Fresh Start Alumnae Networking Event

April 25, 2026

10:00 am — 1:00 pm (AZ Time)

Reconnect with purpose at this exclusive Fresh Start alumnae networking event designed to inspire and build community.

Join us for an exclusive gathering designed to empower, connect, and uplift Fresh Start alumnae as you continue your personal and professional journey. This networking event offers a supportive space to reconnect with fellow graduates, build meaningful relationships, and engage with professional leaders from across the Valley who are eager to share insights, guidance, and opportunity!

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience:

  • Meet-and-greet with Fresh Start alumnae, CAC members, and professional leaders
  • Speed networking to help you make the most of your time and connections
  • A keynote address from Jordan Crouch, Fresh Start’s Senior Director of Social Work, offering insights to support your continued growth
  • Raffles for special prizes throughout the event
  • And more!

➜ Are you a Fresh Start Alumna?

Use this quick checklist to see if you identify as part of our Fresh Start alumnae community:

  • ☐ I have participated in one or more Fresh Start programs focused on building my economic self-sufficiency
  • ☐ I am currently in a place where I feel self-sufficient and stable in my personal and/or professional life
  • ☐ I am no longer actively enrolled in the Fresh Start Impact Program (Workshops are okay!)

If you checked all of the above—welcome! You’re part of our Fresh Start Alumna community!

As a Fresh Start alumna, you’re invited to stay connected through opportunities designed for your continued growth and impact. This includes networking events, personal and professional development opportunities, and ways to give back—such as volunteering or supporting current clients, including applying for the Client Advisory Council (CAC).

We’re excited to continue this journey with you. 🩵

➜ How can you prepare?

To help you make the most of this networking experience, we encourage you to come prepared and ready to connect:

  • Update your LinkedIn and social profiles: Ensure your experience, skills, and goals are current. Many connections will continue beyond the event, and a polished profile makes it easier for others to stay in touch and support your journey.
  • Bring business cards (digital or physical, if applicable): Whether it’s a traditional card or a quick-share digital version, having an easy way to exchange contact information can help you build lasting professional relationships.
  • Bring note-taking materials: Capture key insights, advice, and contact details throughout the event. Having notes to reflect on afterward can help you follow up with intention!
  • Prepare a brief (7-second) elevator pitch: Be ready to introduce yourself with confidence. A short, clear summary of who you are, what you’re working toward, and what you’re seeking can make a strong first impression.
  • Come with a few thoughtful questions: Think about what you’d like to learn from professional leaders and fellow alumnae. Asking intentional questions can spark meaningful conversations and open doors to new opportunities.

This event is hosted by Fresh Start’s Client Advisory Council (CAC), a dedicated group of alumnae who serve as a bridge between clients and organizational leadership. Through advocacy, collaboration, and shared leadership, the CAC works to ensure that every woman’s voice is heard and that Fresh Start continues to evolve in ways that meaningfully support women at every stage of their journey.

We’re excited to see you there!
