Our April Leadership Luncheon will explore the journey to self-sufficiency and success for justice-involved women, featuring speaker Kathy Martinez.
This event is free and open to the public, with lunch provided for all attendees. Please RSVP to attend.
About the speaker:
After her third incarceration in November 2020, Kathy Martinez had enough. “I was done. I was tired of throwing my life away,” says Martinez.
Leaving behind a history of drug addiction and abusive relationships, Martinez has rewritten her future and is currently working at an addiction recovery center. She is dedicated to reframing her negative experiences, transforming them to positive outcomes and living out the knowledge that her past does not define her.
Martinez is also the Founder & CEO of Baby Gift Ministry, an organization currently working towards nonprofit status that aims to slow the number of babies found abandoned, as well as mothers who lose their babies due to addition. She currently supports about 50 women each month through her organization.
Join us as we learn more about her personal leadership journey and share resources available to justice-involved women on their path to self-sufficiency!
