Education and Support for Parents and Family Members of LGBTQ+ Youth with One n Ten
Because of the discrimination and harassment they face, LGBTQ+ youth have higher rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation than their straight and cisgender counterparts. In this workshop, families of LGBTQ+ youth will learn how to counter these statistics by learning what it means to be LGBTQ+ as well as how to support their LGBTQ+ youth.

How to Engage Within the Queer Community with One n Ten
The LGBTQ+ community is vast and diverse. Over the last couple of decades, changes in language and how we understand gender and sexuality may seem overwhelming and confusing. In this training, we will breakdown concepts related to gender identity, gender expression, and sexuality, and we will review how to engage with the modern LGBTQ+ community in a way that is welcoming and affirming.
