Brains Club: Attention

Fri, March 7, 2025

9:30 am — 10:30 am (AZ Time)

Join us for this Brains Club session as we dive into attention!

Attention is the first stage of memory and therefore, is a very important part of thinking function. In the Attention module, we discuss the different types of attention, why attention is so important, common attention problems following a brain injury, factors that can influence the ability to pay attention, and strategies to compensate for attention difficulties. Tasks are completed to illustrate each type of attention and to explore/identify effective compensatory strategies.

Through interactive group activities, you will gain practical strategies that can deepen your understanding of the human brain, and discover techniques that can make a lasting difference in your life, and the lives of those around you.

All women in the community are welcome to attend, hope to see you there!
